NavCert GmbH and the EGNSS Centre of Excellence CoE (Noordwijk, the Netherlands) are happy to announce a cooperation
Drones (unmanned aircraft systems or UAS) are becoming a common sight in today’s society. As their role increases from photographic and recreational use to more critical, truly unmanned applications, it is vital that the safety of UAS is assured. Whereas most drone applications do not yet require certification, this is expected to change in the near future.
NavCert and the EGNSS Centre of Excellence CoE (Noordwijk, the Netherlands) are happy to announce a cooperation on the assessment of UAS according to the delegated regulation EU 2019/945. The goal is to provide manufacturers and service providers with a solution for testing and certification of their equipment.
The EGNSS Centre of Excellence is a cooperation between NLR, CGI and S[&]T. Together the companies provide a one-stop shop for GNSS-related issues and services. The focus of the CoE is on the mobility sector and safety critical GNSS applications.
