OECON thrilled – Braunschweig becomes pioneer region for the introduction of 5G

As the Braunschweiger Zeitung reported yesterday, Wolfsburg and Braunschweig will become a model region for the introduction of the new 5G mobile communications standard. In the selected model regions, “the potentials of the new 5G mobile communications standard … are to be developed, tested and demonstrated clearly and practically.” (~ Andre Dolle, Braunschweiger Zeitung)

There will be six model regions nationwide and Wolfsburg-Braunschweig-Helmstedt will be one of it. The joy at OECON is great, because the expansion of the digital infrastructure in our region is an important factor for our developments and thus for economic success.
